Hello dear students,

We all pay our semester fee regularly. A small part of this goes to the student councils. And since around 5000 people study computer science at TU Dortmund University, there are currently almost 16,000 euros in the student council’s account. The eleven students currently in our faculties student council try to spend it wisely.

And if you want, you can do the same! Whether you just have good ideas or want to organize an entire event: As a member of the student council or the faculties committees, you can actively shape the teaching, studies and leisure time at the university. At the FVV, you can be elected to the student council or simply ask questions and give feedback:

The Student Council for the Computer Science Faculty is happy to invite you to the general meeting of the student body (FVV) for the winter semester 2023/2024. All computer science students can take part in the FVV, ask the student council and the committees about past work, decide things and elect new members to the student council.

The Fachschaftsrat (FSR) represents your interests towards the lecturers, the faculty and the university and is happy to advise you on questions about your studies. Recently, the FSR has organized and financed orientation events and Karaoke, among other things.

If you want to participate, just come to E23 at Otto-Hahn-Straße 14 on Wednesday, 31.01.2024 from 14:00. Please bring your certificate of study (printed out or as a PDF to show) and a photo ID to be able to vote. There will be no classes on the day from 2-6pm. If you cannot come physically, you can watch via stream, but unfortunately you will not be able to vote. Details can be found at https://oh14.de/fvv.

After the FVV there will be free vegan muffins and cakes.
